Summer Memories / Greg Taft (Friend and Brother-in-Law )
On this beautiful Labour Day afternoon, I remember how you loved summer days like this. When you rowed at the races in Welland to playing with Brody and Wrangler in the backyard, you had a love of life. You were a wonderful sister-in-law and more importantly, a trusted friend. My memories of our talks and going places will last a lifetime. We helped each other out often because we were friends. I have a new person in my life that I'm sure you would like. She too loves animals and the beauty of nature like yourself.

Your up in heaven with my mother now too Leanne. She left us in January of this year after her long illness of alzheimers. Your sister Christine would give foot baths to my mom and feed her and I will always be thankful to her for that. Memories last a lifetime. Your thought of often and missed as a friend. One day, we will all be up there but until then, God Bless to you and my mom. Close

Leanne, there is so much beauty out here and I see you in all of it. As I ride through the mountains they take your breath away and I see you sitting on top of them waving to say you are there. I hear all the wonderful birds that fly ahead and I hear you talking to me. The higher up we go and the closer the sun becomes I feel a warm hug. I wish you were riding beside me though taking in all the beautiful landscapes and life there is here. Every morning is a shock to me as you visit me in my dreams. But every dream I get to see your smile. That I'll always cherish. I know I shouldn't feel guilty or sorry but I do my love. There is so much I still needed to say. I know you hear them in my thoughts and one day I will beable to sit with you in a beautiful heaven and beable to have one of those wonderful sister-sister talks like we used to have. I so wish you could know my true love Derek. He is the brother any one would want to wish for. He always loves to hear my stories of you and the antics we would get into as kids. I see your face in every room and thank you for visiting often especially when you brought the Great Horned Owl to visit but the tallon was not funny! Thank you... / Greg T. (Friend & Brother-in-Law ) Leanne, it was truly an honour to have been your brother-in-law. You were such a genuine person with a heart of gold. I remember when you lived at the house with us and how excited you would get. I remember when the 3 of us went on the tour train and seeing your smile as that was your first time on a train. When you hit me with a water balloon at the Easter Family Gathering, I remember your laugh. Your love of animals and watching Brody and Wrangler playing in the backyard when you came over. Memories last a lifetime and I feel privileged to have shared a portion of my life with you and your family. May God be with all of you.
